A Conversation with a RavenI came upon a bird today  and we began to talk:  
of life and death and love and loss  he spoke without a squawk.   
As we neared the end of the path,  
he stopped to have his say.  He told me the greatest advice:  
keep myself from dismay.   
“If ever you find that you long death,  or find guilt to condemn,  though you may wish to end your strife,  I say ‘carpe diem.’”   
The bird flew away from me then,  thus never to be seen.  His advice will always tell me  to keep positive mien. A Conversation with a Raven
